How to Build Cars in LEGO Fortnite

While players have access to individual vehicle parts to make their own car how they want it, players can simply pick the car they want and be assisted in building it just like any other building. The cars can be found under the Rugged Rollers section in the Builds tab of the Build menu.

However, players will first need to discover the Biomass resource and craft the new Power Cell item before vehicles can be unlocked. Each car then needs various resources to build completely.

The Speedster is the easiest and most efficient car to build, requiring only one Power Cell and 45 other resources in total. The game walks players through four stages of building:

  1. Vehicle Base
  2. Driver’s Seat and Power Center
  3. Front Brush Guard and Rear Brush Guard
  4. Powered Wheels and Turnable Wheels

Players will then have to open the Power Center on the back of the Speedster to insert one Power Cell for the vehicle to work. Larger Power Centers will require more than one Power Cell. Players can then sit in the car and drive until the cell runs out of juice.

There are currently three cars that the game can assist players in building: Speedster, Offroader, and Hauler. Each of the cars have a different function depending on the player’s needs.

The Speedster is a personal vehicle built for one, while the Offroader can comfortably sit four players at once. The Hauler can also sit four, but includes a giant flatbed that can carry even more players or resources. Each car requires a different number of materials, and here is the total cost for each one.
