The first concrete details about EA Sports College Football 25 were announced earlier on May 16, and EA Play subscribers have reasons to celebrate. For starters, their subscription will allow them to test out all the contents, and many have wondered if EA Sports will include the title on their subscription service.
Will EA Sports College Football 25 be on EA Play?
While EA Play members do get a 10-hour free trial, EA Sports College Football 25 will not be present on the subscription service. This is certainly applicable to the base version of the subscription. The only benefit for subscribers is the free trial, which begins on July 16.
However, it’s better not to expect the game to arrive anytime soon on EA Sports’ subscription service. That said, it could eventually be added, as has happened with all the Madden titles thus far. EA Sports adds each year’s annual Madden release to the subscription a few months after their standalone release.
Incidentally, EA Sports College Football 25 will be a console exclusive, and hence, it won’t be available on the Pro tier of the subscription. The Pro tier is far more expensive but offers a lot more benefits. For starters, it includes all new releases along with all the content and even features several extra goodies for the players. Upcoming launches like F1 24 will be available on the Pro version as well, and it will include all the benefits entitled to the Champions Edition.
Hence, the only option for interested buyers for the time being is to make a standalone purchase. EA Sports College Football 25 is available in Standard and Digital Deluxe Editions, both of which are currently available for pre-order.
Additionally, buyers can also avail themselves of the EA Sports MVP Bundle, which offers the Digital Deluxe versions of both College Football and Madden 25 (when that gets released in August 2024). While the standalone Digital Deluxe versions of both games cost $99.99, the MVP Bundle is available for $149.99 and offers a hefty discount for all buyers.
