Do you all remember Cammy? Not just a legendary Street Fighter character, but only the series’ second female character introduced in the Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers edition. If you were around back then, you surely remember her iconic outfit showcased on the promotional posters and ads for that version – and of course, who can forget her appearance in the Street Fighter II anime?
Cammy was such a looker, they had to cast Kylie Minogue to play her in that abomination of the it’s-so-bad-it’s-kinda-funny movie, Street Fighter II The Movie The Game, even presenting her in her in-game outfit. Wait, where was I? Ah yes, Street Fighter 6! Yes, Cammy is back again, now looking a little bit more mature, with a different new outfit – but worry not, the old one is still in the game! Let’s find out how to unlock Cammy’s classic costume in Street Fighter 6.
How to Unlock Cammy’s Classic Street Fighter 2 Look in Street Fighter 6
Right now, each character in Street Fighter 6 comes with one default costume and one alternative one that needs to be unlocked called “Outfit 2”. For all returning Street Fighter 2 characters, including Cammy, this “Outfit 2” represents their classic look. So, to unlock Cammy’s classic costume, you will need to:
Play World Tour mode and reach the part of the game where you meet Cammy, and maximize your friendship level with her by completing missions and giving her gifts. Just keep in mind that this route won’t be very fast. To speed up that process somewhat you can shower her with her favorite gift, Jellied Eel (which can be bought at the Bathers Beach store from Jamaica Merchant).
Alternatively, you can skip the World Tour grind by just paying up 50 Fighter Coins through the in-game shop menu.
- Enter Multi Menu from the main menu of the game by pressing Start / Options button.
- Go to “Shop”.
- Select “Costumes”.
- Scroll down to Cammy: Outfit 2.
