Pyper Location in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Pyper is located in a tree north of Highland Stable in Faron. You can find Highland Stable at coordinates (0517, -3437, 0047) and Pyper’s tree at coordinates (0526, -3392, 0049).

You’ll have to climb the tree to reach this spot, so make sure you’re out in clear weather! If it’s raining, you can wear slip-resistant armor, drink a sticky elixir or wait until it’s sunny again.

Once you find Pyper, you can ask about recent events. After moving down to the tree’s base, you’ll hear the full story about the accidental fire and why Pyper decided to do this. I won’t spoil why, but let’s just say it’s a cute story involving him impressing a girl that leads into the “The Flute Player’s Plan” side adventure!

In short, following this conversation, you’ll have to collect some sunset fireflies for Pyper so he can impress Haite again in a safer, less fiery fashion. You can find these fireflies out in the wild or purchase some from Beedle, the traveling merchant. Just be prepared to spend 100 rupees if you decide to buy all 10!

From here, after collecting the glowing bugs, you’ll return to Haite and show her the firefly-filled tree to wrap up the “The Flute Player’s Plan” side adventure!
